Since his origen, man has
dedicated himself to obtaining his food through the capture of other
species. For centuries, that rush of adrenalin generated by one-to-one
combat, full of cunning, has excited people of many different cultures.
In time, technology ruptured the balance of the fight and,
with very few exceptions, it was no longer necessary to obtain food
that way. However, those primitive emotions survived the barriers
of time and the fight, transformed into a sport, still retained
a place in the upper classes of certain societies.
In the central region of Chile, at barely 80 kilometres from Santiago,
this family from the capital city transmits its passion to the young
hunters who will go out in search of rabbits and hares, abundant in
the region.
Dressed in camouflage and gritting their teeth, these young adventurers
breathe unevenly in the rugged geography of the mountain range of
the Andes, at an altitude of more than 2,700 metres while they enjoy
this strange way of infantile entertainment.
